The house
'Cabana do Campo' means 'Cabin in the Countryside' and perfectly captures the atmosphere and character of this property. The large garden and rural surroundings offer our guests peace and the freedom to relax. Cabana do Campo is part of Quinta da Vida (an old olive farm) which hosts five holiday homes. The Cabana is situated on the same grounds as Quinta da Vida but stands independently at the back of the property, providing plenty of privacy and space. The Cabana shares the communal swimming pool (50m²) with sun loungers and parasols. Additionally, there is a ping pong table, a small volleyball court, a play kitchen, and plenty of toys and games.
The Cabana is located in the eastern Algarve, close to Moncarapacho (5km), a village half an hour’s drive from Faro Airport. The nearest beach, Fuseta, is a 12km drive away. The area surrounding the house is perfect for walking and enjoying nature. Many species of birds, wild boar, foxes, and even eagles can be spotted. There are no amenities within walking distance, so we highly recommend renting a car!
The Cabana is a spacious property of over 85m² featuring a large open-plan living kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all conveniences, including a dishwasher, oven, large fridge-freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, and more. The living room has air conditioning that can both cool and heat, and there's also a large wood-burning stove that works wonderfully in winter to keep the living area cosy and warm.
The house has three snug bedrooms. The master bedroom (10m²) is furnished with a double bed (160x200) and a built-in wardrobe. The other two bedrooms are single rooms (each 5m²) with a single bed of 80x200 in each. There is one air conditioning unit in the hallway of the sleeping area, which is more than sufficient to cool (or heat) all three bedrooms. This means that when using the air conditioning, the bedroom doors should be left open.
The bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower and a double sink. There is a separate toilet located in the hallway, which also contains a cloakroom and a utility/laundry room with a washing machine available for free use.
The house boasts a generous, fully enclosed garden with beautiful olive and almond trees and a 70m² lawn. The large waterproof veranda provides a lovely place to sit during both summer and winter months. The barbecue and hammock complete the ultimate holiday experience.
